In the category “Best Country Song” Jaylah Danielle: Real Country Boy

Newcomer and High School Senior Jaylah Dow “Jaylah Danielle” along with Chuck Lucero from Shepherd Studios take the top honors for NM Country in 2011. The album includes tracks all penned by Miss Dow were recorded in Albuquerque’s Shepherd Studios with an all New Mexico lineup including Jacob Carr (electric guitars), Seth Dow (Bass) and Joe Seltzer (drums). Miss Dow was also nominated for best album in the “Americana” and “Country” categories.

“It’s always great to be a part of recording original music,” said Seltzer, who played the drum parts on the album. “It’s icing on the cake for the whole album to be recognized at any level.”

Real Country Boy Availability

Real Country Boy is the first complete album release from Miss Dow, who is participating in future songwriter workshops in Nashville, TN this summer. She will be one of 50 young songwriters invited from across the USA to this exclusive opportunity. The album is available on the Jaylah Danielle website and for download on Reverb Nation.
